S., Canada and Australia conducted by the English Department of Nagoya Women's College. The Revised Standard of University Establishment by the Ministry of Education, which has been in force since July 1, 1991, presents the prospects for the reformation of curriculums in four-year & two-year colleges and universities, especially in the field of general education and foreign language education in relation to other fields. Under the influence of the new standard, each college will have a revised program of English teaching and learning, including the expansion of long& short-term overseas programs for English training. The merit of study abroad lies what the students learn in English-speaking countries, as well as how much they try to improve their English skills. The present writers happily observe that conservative Japanese colleges are moving toward self-improvement as a result of the revised standard."}, pages = {179--191}, title = {短期集中英語研修の現状と分析 : 英語科:米・豪・加 語学研修プログラムの比較検討を中心に}, volume = {38}, year = {1992} }
