As a result of this research, 33 species of Trichoptera belonging to 27 genera of 14 familis were collected from May to October in 1996. Of which, Molannodes itoae FULLER & WIGGINS, which is a common species in Hokkaido, has been newly recorded in Honshu, and Mystacides sp. 1, previously only known from Lake Biwa, is also listed in the fauna. The fauna of the caddisflies including lentic and lotic species demonstrates the variety of environment in the Kaisho-no-mori Forest."},
