Growth during the feeding period, hepatic and\nblood lipid parameters, blood glucose, ALT, and AST were investigated. Final body weight,\ntotal food intake, blood lipid, glucose and ALT in the PBB group did not differ markedly\nfrom the control group. However, blood AST in the PBB group was significantly lower than\nin the control group. Hepatic cholesterol and triacylglycerol were also significantly lower in\nthe PBB group than in the control group.
