Whereas male students tended to order coffee, female\nstudents preferred black tea at cafes. Milk-free, straight-type, and carbonated drinks were\nfavored by male students, and milk-rich drinks were often ordered by female students.\nThe rate of female students who ordered dishes, excluding bread, and sweets at cafes\nwas significantly higher than that of males. The awareness of nutrient balance was higher\namong female students at cafes, possibly because the rate of females who viewed cafes as\n“eating establishments” was higher.
