Each sample was cleaned up by using an immunoaffinity\ncolumn, and AFM1 was determined by high-performance liquid chromatograph with\nfluorescence detection. The limit of detection and quantitation of the method were 0.0004\nμg/kg and 0.001 μg/kg, respectively. For the infant formula sample spiked at 0.05 and\n0.005 μg/kg levels, recoveries were 91.5 and 108.6%, respectively. The repeatability relative\nstandard deviations were 2.5% and 10.3%, respectively. The reproducibility relative standard\ndeviations were 3.4% and 7.6%, respectively.
