The textbook analyzed in this paper is Early Childhood Education (Nguyễn, 2019). First, this research shows the Vietnam's view of the ECCE curriculum by analyzing the educational laws and curriculum. Then, the six principles of early childhood education is revealed from the textbook. After that, I analyze general teaching techniques and teaching methods in play and theme activity described in the textbook.
