| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of a short-term residential program for caregivers of young children with developmental disabilities. Nineteen parents participated in a 4-days intensive residential program consisting of group counseling among parents and intervention for each child. Beck Depression Index and Parenting Stress Index Short Form were used to measure the parent’s anxiety and parenting stress. Results revealed that the program could be effective for reducing anxiety and parenting stress of caregivers of young children with developmental disabilities. |
