| 内容記述 | The Curriculum guidelines produced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan and their accompanying guidebook specify 37 musical items as “common musical concepts” that are supposed to be taught in the elementary music education. However, they do not specify when and how each of those musical concepts needs to be taught. Therefore, each publisher of music textbooks treats them differently. In this study, both of the two current Japanese music textbooks were analyzed and compared to find out how these common musical concepts are treated and to see if they reveal any systematic and/or logical methodology or any issues in order to teach these concepts effectively. |
